Tell us about the car and what you want done with it. The more you give us — especially photos — the more useful our answer will be. We'll come back to you with a straight read on the job and what it's likely to involve.

What do you need?

Pick the closest one — you can explain properly in a moment.

How would you like to do this?

Let us know what the car is.

  • Running and driving
  • Runs, but needs work
  • Not running
  • Rolling shell
  • Dismantled / in pieces
  • Not sure

Pick the closest description.

  • Turn-key — hand me a finished car
  • Full restoration, close to original
  • Custom build, my way
  • One specific repair
  • Get it certified or complied
  • A tidy driver, not a show car
  • Not sure yet

Pick the closest one.

What's been done to it, what you know needs doing, anything you're worried about, and any deadline you're working to.

A couple of sentences is plenty — it saves us both a phone call.

This is the single most useful thing you can send us. Rust and panel work are almost impossible to price without seeing them — include the bad bits, underneath, and inside the guards if you can. Up to 8 photos, 10 MB each.

Drag photos in, or choose them from your device.

No photos handy? That's fine — carry on without them. You can always email them to sales@kohlcustoms.co.nz once we're talking.
Town or city is plenty. We're at Kuku, just south of Levin — and we take cars from all over the country.

    Whereabouts is it?

Do you need us to help with transport?
We're open Mon–Fri 7:30am – 4:00pm. Pick roughly when suits and we'll ring you back to lock in a time — that way someone's free to walk you round properly rather than shouting over a grinder.

    Let us know roughly when.

    • Either suits me
    • Morning — 7:30am to 12
    • Afternoon — 12 to 4

    Pick whichever works.

    Are you bringing the car?

    Who are we talking to?

We'd rather ring you than type back and forth.

We need a valid email to send your confirmation to.

    That's away.

We've got your enquiry and a confirmation is on its way to your inbox. We'll be in touch — usually within a working day.

    Enquiry questions

    Before you send it.

What the car is, what you want out of it, where it is, and photos. Photos are worth more than anything else you can give us — include the bits you're worried about, underneath, and inside the guards if you can get at them.

Usually within a working day. We're in the workshop Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, so an enquiry sent over a weekend gets picked up Monday.

Pick 'not sure yet' and describe the car and what's bothering you. Working out the scope is part of the job, and it's a conversation we have most weeks.

Yes — choose 'book a workshop visit' at the first step and tell us roughly when suits. We'll come back with a time so somebody's free rather than you turning up mid-job.

They're used to answer your enquiry and nothing else. No lists, no newsletters, and we don't pass them on.
