Car restoration in Foxton

Foxton and Foxton Beach are twenty minutes up State Highway 1 from our workshop at Kuku — near enough that dropping in is no trouble at all.

Beach town, beach rust

Anything that's lived at Foxton Beach has had salt air working on it for years. It goes for the seams, the sills, the boot floor and the screen surrounds long before it shows anywhere you'd notice while washing the car. If yours has spent its life near the beach, budget for more metalwork than the outside suggests.

We cut it out and replace it in fabricated steel rather than filling it. And because the panel work, the paint, the mechanical, the wiring, the trim and the certification all happen here, a Foxton car doesn't have to make a tour of the lower North Island to get finished.

Getting the car to us from Foxton

Twenty minutes down the highway. Short tow or a quick trailer run if it isn't going, and cheap either way.

We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
