Car restoration for Porirua
Porirua is a straight run north up State Highway 1 and the Transmission Gully route to our workshop at Kuku, just south of Levin — under an hour on a decent day.
Harbour-side cars, harbour-side rust
Sitting on a harbour is hard on a car. Salt gets into the places you'd never inspect — inside sills and chassis rails, along floor seams, around the rear window and in the boot well. On a car that's lived in Porirua its whole life, what shows on the surface is usually the smallest part of the story.
We deal with that properly: rust cut out, replaced with fabricated steel, sealed and painted. Beyond that it's the full workshop — restorations and custom builds, panel and paint, mechanical and auto electrical, custom upholstery, Cerakote and LVV certification, all in the one building.
Getting the car to us from Porirua
Under an hour of easy motorway and highway. For a car that isn't going anywhere on its own, transport up SH1 is quick and cheap, and we'll help you line it up.
We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
