Car restoration in Levin
We're Levin's local restoration and custom build shop — literally. Our workshop is at Kuku on State Highway 1, about ten minutes south of town, and we've been there since 2006.
A workshop on your doorstep
For Levin owners this is about as convenient as a proper restoration shop gets. You can drop the car in, come and look at it while it's apart, and have the conversation about what it actually needs standing next to it rather than over the phone. That matters more than people expect on restoration work, where the scope tends to reveal itself as panels come off.
We do the full range here — frame-up restorations and turn-key custom builds, panel and paint, rust cut out and replaced, sheet-metal and chassis fabrication, full mechanical, auto electrical, custom upholstery, Cerakote and certification. Because it's all under the one roof, a Levin car doesn't get shuttled between a panel shop, a trimmer and an auto sparky with three sets of opinions attached to it.
Getting the car to us from Levin
Most Levin cars just drive down, or come the ten minutes on a trailer. If yours has been sitting in a shed for a decade and isn't going anywhere under its own steam, that's a short and cheap tow — tell us where it is and we'll sort it.
We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
