The short run up SH1 means Ōtaki owners can realistically come and see the car mid-build, which is worth a lot on a long job. Fifteen minutes on a trailer or a short tow if it isn't running. Plenty of Ōtaki cars simply drive up. Either way it's a cheap trip compared with sending a car to Wellington or Palmerston North.

We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
