Car restoration for Lower Hutt
Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt are a little over an hour from our workshop at Kuku — out SH2 and up State Highway 1 past Kāpiti.
A shop with room to do it properly
The Hutt has a long, genuine motoring history and no shortage of good cars tucked away in garages. What it doesn't have much of is space for a car to be in pieces for a year while somebody does the job properly. That's the trade the drive buys you.
Everything happens here — frame-up restorations, custom and turn-key builds, panel and paint, rust repair and sheet-metal fabrication, full mechanical, auto electrical, custom upholstery, Cerakote and LVV certification. One workshop, one standard, and no handing the car between businesses.
Getting the car to us from Lower Hutt
An hour or so if it drives. If it doesn't, we'll help arrange transport from the Hutt in both directions — plenty of cars arrive here on a truck.
We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
