Car restoration in Palmerston North

Palmerston North is a comfortable under-an-hour run to our workshop at Kuku, whether you come down SH57 through Shannon or take State Highway 1 through Foxton and Levin.

Worth the drive for the right build

Palmerston North has plenty of workshops. What's harder to find anywhere is one place that does the body, the paint, the fabrication, the mechanical, the wiring, the trim and the certification — because on a restoration those things all have to agree with each other, and they rarely do when four different businesses are involved.

That's the whole reason this shop is set up the way it is. One building, one set of hands on the car, and nobody in a position to blame the last shop for what they've inherited. For a Manawatū owner it's less than an hour each way to have that, and on a job measured in months the drive stops being the deciding factor very quickly.

Getting the car to us from Palmerston North

Easy driving distance if the car goes. If it doesn't, transport from Palmerston North is a short and inexpensive hop — we'll help arrange it in both directions.

We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
