Car restoration for Whanganui

Whanganui is a straightforward run down SH3 and onto State Highway 1 to reach us at Kuku, just south of Levin — around an hour and three quarters.

Worth the run for one workshop

For a job that runs for months, the deciding factor is almost never the drive — it's whether the work gets done properly and whether you can find out what's happening. We're happy for you to come and see the car, and we'd rather you did.

The reason cars travel to us is that everything happens in the one building: body and paint, rust and fabrication, mechanical, auto electrical, trim, Cerakote and certification. On a restoration those disciplines constantly run into each other, and having them under one roof is the difference between a build that comes together and one that stalls waiting on somebody else's booking.

Getting the car to us from Whanganui

If the car isn't drivable, transport down through Rangitīkei and onto SH1 is well-trodden ground for the carriers. Tell us where it's sitting and we'll help get it here and back.

We're not a mobile operation — the spray booth, the fabrication gear and the trim shop are all at Kuku, and that's where the work happens. What we will do is help you sort transport in both directions if the car isn't going to drive itself here.
