Where we work.

The workshop is at Kuku on State Highway 1, a few minutes south of Levin. Everything gets done here — we're not mobile. But the cars come from all over, and if yours can't drive itself down we'll help you get it here.

Close to home

Being on SH1 an hour north of Wellington puts most of the lower North Island within an easy run. Levin and Foxton are minutes away, Ōtaki and the Kāpiti Coast are a short hop south, and Palmerston North, Whanganui, Porirua, the Hutt Valley and Wellington itself are all comfortable one-way trips.

We've written a page for each of the areas we see the most work from — what the drive looks like, what tends to be wrong with cars from that part of the country, and how to get yours to us.

Further afield

Plenty of what's on our floor didn't come from around here. Cars reach us from the top of the North Island and from the South, usually on a truck. If you're a long way away, the practical questions are the same ones we'd ask a local: what is it, what do you want out of it, and can we see some photos.

Once we know that, we can tell you honestly whether it's worth putting a car on a transporter to come to us — and sometimes the answer is no. We'd rather say so.

What we don't do

We don't come to you. There's no mobile van, and there won't be one. The spray booth, the fabrication gear, the hoists and the trim shop are all in this building, and that's the only way this standard of work gets done.

Tell us where your car is

Wherever it's sitting.

Tell us where the car is and whether it moves under its own power. We'll take it from there.
